Frankfort Area Historical Society


Since its founding, the Frankfort Area Historical Society Museum has developed an extensive collection of documents, reference materials and photographs. We are pleased to make these available to individuals working on family histories and other non-commercial projects. Our holdings include:

  • Genealogies/family histories for many Frankfort residents, dating back to 1855
  • Frankfort and Green Garden census records for 1850, 1860 and 1870
  • Original village plat maps and other maps of Frankfort from the 1800's to present
